Alex Tabarrok is a professor of economics at George Mason University and the director of the Center for Study of Public Choice, which uses the tools of economics to study the behavior of individuals not only in market settings but also in the realms of politics, culture, and religion. He and fellow economics professor Tyler Cowen also run the popular website The Marginal Revolution: Small Steps Toward a Much Better World, where they blog daily and offer online economics courses through Marginal Revolution University. Tabarrok is the author or editor of a number of books, including the introductory economics textbooks Modern Principles.
